The Avatar Creator

Ok so I was browsing the site looking for a set of somewhat unique avatars for my website and I stumbled across Laughingbird Softwares 'The Avatar Creator'.

And was wondering if anyone had ever seen this, used this, or whether by looking at the software would i be able to create a set of custom avatars for my forum(s)?

What are your thoughts on software like this? I am considering buying it!

Sorry Forgot to say the companies website: http://www.laughingbirdsoftware.com/ they have some great graphic making programs which is perfect for people like me who are not great with graphics.

 

Personally I don't like that simplistic style of avatar. They look too much like Fisher-Price toys to me.

 

I use it quite often. I am also good friends of the designers who created that software.
and almost all of the other products from Laughingbird Software. It's all awesome.

They have a great vBulletin support forum as well.

 

merk_aus, I look forward to hearing your experience if you purchased it. That seems like a really good value for some cute stuff. We have tiny avatars and those look good even at our 48x48 size.

Chris - the inventor and designer for The Avatar Creator - made me a couple of avatars for my new forum. I'll put it up here in a day or two.

 

Yeah I ended up getting it and trying it out it is a great product and I am currently going through and creating a large set of avatars for my forum.

So far I have about 30 but am trying to get it to 50 before putting them on the avatars list, there are so many things you can do with this software I am trying to create a mixture for my members to use and abuse
