first my facebook was messing up, and i couldnt post on anyones statuses or use the chat
then the chat room attatched to one of my forums broke
when i finally got that sorted and fb started working again
something leaked behind the fridge and blew a fuse, causing all the electricity to go out
then my phone went into low battery, but luckily i managed to call my dad to fix whatever caused the electricity to go off, and tell a member of the forum i was chatting on where i was.
we had no light for a bit because there was no batteries or candles except for some left over from my birthday cake
now my dad fixed it, but when i first logged onto my computer, it thought it was 1am on the 13th july 2007, and msn wouldnt come on, but thats sorted now
oh and the light bulb keeps flickering....:mad2:

You do not have any hand crank flashlights or lanterns around?

Buy some of those solar powered sidewalk lights, and put them where they get plenty of sunlight. If your power goes out, you can move them inside and use them for light. When the battery goes dead, put them back in the sunlight to charge back up.

Here ya go, these are twster flashlights - you just twist the end to charge them up.

And this one here, you shake it up to charge it.

i really do think i need some of those :)

my neighbour had one and hers was really dim and needed it to be moved constantly to get it to work...although that might be because the bulb was going or it was a really cheap one.

One of the things about those shake flashlights - make sure it has an LED bulb in it. An LED flashlight works better with less power then the old style bulbed flashlight.

I keep one of those twister flashlights in the glove box of my wifes SUV , that way we do not have to worry about batteries.

Nothing is ever enough. No matter what you do, something goes wonky, something is missing, something was messed up ... and the fix is more trouble than obtaining the thing in the first place. This is a law of technology I think, but I don't know if it has a name. But anyway we end up with lots of amazing cool stuff that isn't working properly or isn't working at all.

I share your frustrations. ;)
