SPAM

I've removed the first-post-must-be-moderated promotion setup because it is a small factor that may cause new members to never return.

The SPAM has reduced, but I still get a post in the queue once in a while. Since I've removed the moderation restriction, I would be appreciative if you could report any SPAM posts that you see so they can be promptly removed.

I if see any spam, I will sure report it.

On a side note, I dont remember if this forum uses captcha or ReCaptcha. The newer spam bots have broken the captcha phrases. So its best to use ReCaptcha.

 

Recaptcha worked great for a while, but I'm starting to see increases in spam again.

Heck, the spammers sometimes even promoting software that breaks recaptcha!
