I was reading over this seomoz article and it's addressing some of the some things I've brought up in meetings over the last 2 years.

I had to laugh a little at this line..lol

LinkButtons <> HyperLinks

When designing the .NET framework, in their infinite wisdom, Microsoft decided to take something as innocent as a hyperlink, and turn it into a javascript mess, with "postbacks" passing information to the server side. Let me introduce the humble "Linkbutton". A simple way to pass information back to the server via a post in a traditional link tag, telling it exactly what method to call in your code - all via Javascript. URGH! Many developers have used it instead of theHyperLink class, a much more friendly approach but without the benefits of server processing.

Stop using the Datagrid to page results

The Datagrid control is another culprit, with many developers choosing to use the quick and dirty built in paging capability. Have a look at the source code for this Datagrid paging example, then examine anywhere you use the same sort of technique. Bots are going to struggle to click the links to get through each page of the Resultset, and the fact that you are still on the same URL when you reach page 101 makes no sense to Google and other bots.
