Same moderator on more than one of your forums

Have you ever had a moderator you liked so much that you invited them to be a moderator on another one of your forums?

 

Yes - but this individual happened to be knowledgeable in the subject matter that the second forum revolved around, as well. If he had absolutely no understanding of what was being discussed, I most likely would not have invited him over as a staff member (or, to join the staff team).

 

I haven't done that as of yet, but I did invite a couple of regular members to be moderators on other forums. They weren't right for moderator status on the original forum, but they were knowledgeable about the other subjects.

 

If I had forums that we related, then yes I would invite some of my moderators to moderate those sites as well.

 

No, now that I think about it. Nick's plan is pretty good.

 

not a mod on both forums, but my global mod on one forum, is my co-admin on another

its his forum, and he invited me because its his first forum and needs someone who can manage the back end stuff

 

Personally, if the guy makes a good mod, regardless of if he is knowledgeable, I would ask him to mod on forum B. Just because it is so hard to find honest people for mods these days. <<<Well, that might not be true in everyones case, we just had a shakeup on one of the boards I mod at where somehow members were getting admin status...
