Replying to Vbulletin threads via email

Is there any provision in Vbulletin whereby I can reply to user comments on a thread via email rather than going on the forum over and over again to do so?

 

I don't think there is a feature like this, it would require use of the user's credentials, and I'm not too sure how that would work...

Someone was making headway on an email to post feature a few years back on 3.8 but I don't think anything ever came of it.

Personally I don't think it's a great idea. If widely used, it would lessen your page views and therefore advertising revenue down the line.

For mobile users there's the plug and play Tapatalk and Forum Runner.

 

@Dan Hutter - Sure but in my case, I have some experts who are not comfortable posting on forums and are more comfortable on email.

 

I understand your situation. I have some older members who are more comfortable via email but don't think you're going to find anything for vB. I still follow the vB space pretty close and haven't heard anything.
