Replacing REP System

    Replacing The REP System With Thanks - Gaming Center
    Since, people barely respond to my threads thought i'd ask here :)
    I was thinking of replacing the rep system with the Post Thanks Hack.
    Sound good enough? I don't really know how to rep up with the Thanks System.
    Should i replace it or keep them both?

    Yes, the post thanks hack is a decent way to get slightly more activity other than just posts out of your members, and it may make them post more useful things to get more thanks. (ego stroking)

    You will notice far more people clicking thanks than when only the rep button was there, about 4 steps to repping someone, 1 step to thanking ;)

    Is there any way that the rep can go up by getting thanked?
    I have seen this on alot of forums. No idea how to. Is there a
    certain thanks hack?

    The Post Thank You Hack on vbulletin.org does this in its options Ak :)
