If a thread is a few months old, is it still OK to reply to it?

 

Sure its okay as long as it isn't locked up you can post anywhere. At least I would think so. Why not right?

 

OK, cool. I was just asking because at other message boards I post at, people tend to get--how you say?--pissed off when you reply to an old thread.

Depends on the thread. If it's still relevant, no problem.
If you're going to resurrect 3 year old threads with replies even though the thread is long-dead in terms of relevance, then we'll have issues with that.

By all means, if you have something meaningful to add to a thread, even if it's old, please feel free to add your thoughts.
