I actually did a 3.8.4 fresh install and after setting up the RSS feeds, it doesn't seem to be pulling the info automatically. It's got the last check like three days ago.

Any suggestions or thoughts on what I could be doing incorrectly?

DO you have traffic on the site? Scheduled Tasks require regular traffic to run correctly as they are triggered with the $cronimage variable in the footer of the page.

And if I understand it right, if you have a custom template, or if you have have removed the $cronimage, your scheduled jobs will not get ran.

Is there a certain amount of traffic that has to occur Wayne? I mean, I'm actually building the forum and getting things going. So, how would I get that to work correctly?

    Yup, it's in there.

    Code:
<!-- Do not remove cronimage or your scheduled tasks will cease to function -->
    $cronimage
<!-- Do not remove cronimage or your scheduled tasks will cease to function -->

At least one page load every 10 minutes, 24 hours of the day. Put a browser tab on your who's online page and just leave it there. That is 60 page loads an hour.
