On August 6th, 2009 I was diagnosed with Oral Cancer. What I thought was a small canker sore/ulcer on the side of my tongue, turned out to be cancer. I had surgery 4 days later to remove a small part of my tongue, a salivary gland and some lymph nodes in my neck. Right now I have a very good prognosis and I am doing fine. I'm very fortunate.

The Oral Cancer Foundation is my advocate. It's the only organization/forum that is specific to oral cancer survivors and education.

If you all would, please vote once per day. If you have to register, like I did, it's just your name, password, and date of birth.
It would be really great for them to get this grant money from Pepsi.

They also have a great educational video on the link below. Oral cancer is definitely on the rise.

Thanks for your help and please pass this on!
    Patty

From what I'm hearing, you need to log in and then vote. If you log in and can't find the OCF link, go to Pepsi Refresh Project and load the 250,000 current leader. At the bottom it will have the option to load more.

Thanks so much! Right now we're sitting at #20!

I guess I should have asked if it was ok to post this over at vbulletin.com. I didn't figure there would be any trouble because there are links all over the place. My bad!
Well............I've been banned. Little ole frickin' me that never gives anyone trouble got banned for my oral cancer plug. I did send them a nice email.

vbulletin.org sent a nice pm and I understood why they removed it and my account is still active.

Oh well............zero tolerance is not there in black and white, only "we reserve the right". The ban will not be lifted. I hate sounding like sour grapes. I'm really disappointed, but I'll just move on.

This will be my last bother with this thread. I know it's irritating, but please vote.
