I was under the impression that Photopost licenses were not transferable.

I was under the impression that it is rude to join a forum just to advertise and leave, but hey.

I was inspired to post after reading ads for vBulletin licenses. Isn't that the point of a marketplace forum?

Bummer on the PhotoPost license being non-transferable. This was an impulse sales attempt so I will confirm that and obviously if it violates their license agreement I will just have to lump it on the PhotoPost sale.

Well isn't my face red. License is non-transferable and I spammed y'all's forum right out the gate. Carry on.

I personally don't mind it. But here's how another forum puts something like this: (which goes for the Reviews, Connect and Marketplace sections)

If it was transferrable I might've been interested. :D

I guess I'll beg them to transfer my no brand option from my PhotoPost Pro to my PhotoPost Classifieds. Failing that I suppose I'll squeeze another $129 for branding free classifieds and probably have to update the annual too.

Anyone have an alternate suggestion to PP Classifieds? I'm probably about to spend another $170 to update PhotoPost, may be a good time to consider an alternative.

I'm starting to use Photoplog for my photo sharing needs and I know that there was a Classifieds mod for vBulletin, but Microhellas removed it herself.

There is vBClassifieds at vBClassified and I know some people have turned GARS into a simple system. I am also aware of some people using vBa Dynamics as a classifieds system but those were modified installations.

Personally, I would recommend that anybody considering using one of the various MicroHellas/MadeByMary/vBulletinFreelancers/{not sure if any other names were used} have the script checked out first thoroughly before installing on a public site.

100% agree! On checking her work...

I know Nex was taking over her classifieds script and remaking it.
