Personalized Admin CP Skins?

Do any of you have a customized Admin CP themed for your site?

I made one back in December or so when I was bored. It's a pretty nice addition imo, even though only a small handful of people would end up seeing it.

 

I actually don't. Unlike most people, I don't mind the default skins that come with vBulletin.

 

vBulletin 3 Silver is fine with me

 

Oh yeah same here - I actually liked vBulletin Manual the best though.

But I thought personalizing it would be kinda cool.

 

For sure - I've never tried. I'll have to converse with my designer.

 

I never have, but I can imagine it must be like a whole new software when you do. Until you go back to the forum index, of course.

 

I've actually never looked into skinning my acp so I wouldn't know how to.

 

I don't mind the default ACP, but I do use a custom skin with mine. Something nice and easy to look at: vBTech - vBulletin.org Forum

 

That looks great - I may have to take it for a test drive.

 

Before stumbling upon that skin, I never thought to use a custom one. But once I saw it I thought, "I gotta have it!" :p

 

It definitely has the phrase "must have" written all over it. It's also one of the only skins designed specifically for the admin control panel that I've found to be attractive.

The current version of MyBB (1.4.x) comes with an alternative administrative control panel skin that is absolutely fantastic... I'm drawing a blank when it comes to the name.

 

I've never thought about using a custom ACP skin, although when I was running a network, I altered the ACP screen which included links to the other network sites, and the network forum, a 'Technical Request' page which was a form which went to my email, and a 'Network News' box which was at the top of the ACP, and when I needed to update admins on a change whatever, I would make a post in the Network forum and it would be displayed in the Network news box.

 

I use a custom blue and white style for the ACP.

 

I have never even thought about wanting to have a custom skin for my admincp. I'm happy with the blue on one site and the gray on another

 

Sometimes I like to switch it up and I use the old-style purple and gold vBulletin skin as apposed to the regular blue or silver one I generally use. It's a nice change.

 

I just use the default MyBB admin theme. It's good enough for me.

I think "Sharepoint" is what you're thinking of?

 

You're correct, Justin - that is indeed the one. It's very sharp looking.

 

I see it useful if you own or operate several forums using the same software. Just so you don't make a mistake. With vB I would change the default looks to one of their nicer looks, but of course with other software *cough*Invision*cough* that's not necessary, because the ACP usually looks far better. :unhunh:
