who here is on a PC and using Safari,

In my constant search to replace FF and its rapid decline from grace, I've made use of what iTunes snuck on my PC one day and I must say..

Lovely browser, Not to shabby overall and it grew on me rather fast.

Tried it once, and I recall getting the impression that it wasn't as customizable or flexible as Firefox, so I dropped it.

    I don't think I've tried Safari 4 though...

I tried it once before too a beta version of it. I wasnt too keen, I prefer a pretty basic browser, Safari is overkill for me.

    I think FMB uses it.

I personally wouldn't. I need my add-ons, and hardly anything on Safari comes close.

Use it now and again, mostly when I visit sites that have a lot of graphic content as Safari seems to render better.

I do, I personally use it over FF 'cause it's a bit faster in some aspects. I really like it, Safari 4 that is, I use it on a daily basis, pretty much replaced FF for me, but I still do use Firefox for uploading heavy files and downloading[I am to lazy to set the download folders in Safari right].

It doesn't adhere to the look and feel of my OS and imposes an OSX look that I hate on me. I would like to find a nice Webkit browser with a true Windows look and feel though. I don't like the clunky gray icons of Safari and Chrome. At least it uses Aero Glass for the borders but that isn't really enough. I want form elements to look like Window's form elements, not OSX elements. At least it doesn't impose the ugly grey backgrounds that Safari 3 and iTunes has. Worst part about OSX and Apple's interface design are those huge ugly bars.

Not a fan of OS X and forced hardware choices. The company that makes the software shouldn't be the company you are forced to buy your hardware from unless you're in a vertical market. It works for devices like MP3 players and phones but is a real hindrance when working with Desktops.

That said, I exclusively used Apples until 1996 or so. Now, Finder is a joke and the overall OS is fairly ugly in my opinion. Had a support call the other day from a Mac user. He didn't know how to rename a file so had to open it in a program and resave it using "Save As...". If this is the case, the OS can't be that intuitive.

Right click... "Get Info" rename it there.

Yes Apples are ugly I don't like the way they only come in green or red.

WHAT?! UGLY? I'm sorry, but I can't let this past.

You're seriously telling me that you think a black box looks more attractive than this?

    THIS looks better:

You must be seriously confused as to what looks "good". Oh dear.

You made me laugh! I'm really into interface design, and Windows Applications and interactive elements ARE shocking in comparison to Mac OS X. I mean, vista improved the old grey boxes slightly but it still looks shocking. There isn't a standard "feel" to windows applications - they all use their own interface elements.

Rename a file = select, press enter, rename. Your customers must be extremely computer illiterate. EVERYTHING about the OS is more intuitive. Finder is not a joke, it's only inexperienced windows users claiming they can't "sort" files how they can on Windows. Really just power users that don't understand that ordering files the way they do in windows is really unintuitive.

Yeah, it's better than some but the original design concept of an all-in-one with screen integrated was "borrowed" from Apple. The iMac still looks far superior, and the above shouts "gaming machine" rather than "professional machine".

The keyboard is stupid from times to times, specially when I'm on my bed across the room from my computer and the bluetooth starts to bug. -_-

Not really what you would call a gaming machine. The PC itself is for entertainment such as music and movies, pretty good for graphic design but not good enough out-of-the-box for gaming.
