Open "Contacts" Popup - Anyone using it?

What do you use the "Contacts" popup for?

I haven't used the feature in the past and I'm wondering what anyone uses this for? I noticed only one mod on vb.org ("Add Contact" Button on Contacts Popup - vBulletin.org Forum) and that was adding a button to it.

Any suggestions or should I simply remove it from the Community dropdown?

I don't really see the benefit of having that "feature" on the site. I was hoping that someone would explain what a great community advantage they were getting by having it, but doesn't look like it so far. :shrug:

 

I think it's sort of connected to the Friends list in the later forums and I do use that a bit. Though I think it was totally useless beforehand.
