Talking about AdminAddict and ranting about Nick behind his back seems pretty low to me, and constantly mocking the members here...

 

It's not quite behind my back. Has Admin Addict spoiled forum with Banner Ads

 

erm.......nick, apparently you are not real and are actually a staff member on vbulletin :rofl:

wow.....i do think that is very low, my rival did that on her facebook, accusing my co-admin of spamming her forum (selling viagra, i think not!!) on a friend of hers's status. she forgot that i had this friend on my friends list!

 

Rather sad to see that someone has no life and sits reporting about other boards. It sounds as if he is jealous of AA or something. He sounds like a typical troll. I wouldnt even give him the attention.

where mrgtb posted a bunch of assumptions about why I sold vBSetup and started IPBSetup, also a thread on why I use twitter and how I do so well at it. I replied to both threads, so I guess he got what he wanted.
I'm guessing he's just trying to post random thoughts hoping those admins will come clear things up for him??
It's a rather odd marketing tactic if you ask me, but each to his own.

You know, I just made a few posts over there. You know me, I couldn't help myself.
But then I figured, why bother? What little respect I had for mrGTB (meaning what little you can possibly have for someone you know only on the internet), is completely gone.

Exactly my thoughts. I even posted this in my really long reply to his thread:

LOL, that's how I felt at first. In the beginning, I thought these were legitimate concerns of his, so I took the time to write that extremely long reply of mine. As we went back and forth, I realize that he is oddly pushy and is desperate for attention. It made me feel like a celebrity being pushed around by tabloid reporters just to get a rise out of me so they can get a "story".

 

If you don't have the ingenuity and know-how in generating your own content, articles and stories, I guess you can resort to starting rumors about other forums. :shrug:

ive noticed now that you have to be a member to view that forums threads now, but i could see it yesterday night........i take it he knows we know what hes doing

 

Ahh...true. Yesterday I was able to read everything without being a member. Might be a good move because if folks are visiting the site and reading the things that they're reporting, they might be turned off to it enough not to join. This way, he'll get a few new members from the curious folks that want to read the 'stuff'.

 

He made this change in the middle of the night: Closed forums to guests visiting from now on. Looks like it's a stunt to get more people to register, of course.

Of course. If he badmouths us on his site, why can't we do the same here (even though we aren't badmouthing him)?

 

Better to talk about it here on AA then register on another site to talk about this site, right?

I'm pretty sure he restricted viewing access by guests to his forum in response this thread. He snoops around enough that I'm sure he's seen it already.
