If you were to have off site backups of your site basically where backups are FTP'd to some more hosting space, is there a way in WHM or another way to get them to backup every four hours instead of only daily.

    Thanks :)

Not through WHM; the most frequent interval it goes to is daily. If you honestly need it done that frequently, you're best bet is to go with a RAID setup on top of the daily backups.

Thank you, I dont necessarily need them to be backed up that often, just when we were using shared hosting I was able to backup every 4 hours through what I think is called R1soft/Rsync :)

Yeah that's its own software (Rsync). It's is sorta like RAID for a remote server in a few ways, and does give you that nice frequent backup. For those on a budget, RAID and the default cPanel backup seems to work pretty well, though.

Would it be expected of a customer usually to purchase the r1soft software themselves? Just want to make sure of that as its missing on our cpanels and when I asked about it as the link is there they said we would need to purchase the software :D
