Odd User: susanspy

Hi there,
A person registered on my forum about a week ago with the username 'susanspy' and Id noticed that this person was also a member of 3 other forums that I visit occasionally.
This person made 1 post, and it was quite a odd post really, so I thought I would google the persons username.
I was quite amazed to see that she was infact a member of quite a few forums, scratch that, A LOT of forums. So I browsed her post (yes only 1 post on every forum she is a member of) and noticed that they all seemed to be odd in a way.
Im interested if any of you have susanspy on your forum.

 

No susanspy registered. Maybe he or she was on a " Join All Forums Goal " sometime in the past. :lol:

 

I'm pretty sure that user registered here too. It's a spammer.

She registered on two of my forums; she only posted generic "hi there" messages, but she's probably planning to use her accounts for spam at a later date.

 

Spam users do not necessarily post spam to your forums proper, but may put a link in their profile, or signature, or pm other members, etc.

 

Or even a link that looks like a 1 x 1 pixel white picture to a really bad site?

 

I hadn't thought of that one!

Time to make some changes.

 

Or just tracks visitors.

Hint: Purge nullos regularly.
