New Smileys

As you may have noticed, we have replaced the default vBulletin set of smileys with a different set. We have also added a whole new category of "Items and Icons" that contains over 70 cartoon images and icons.

Some notable smileys amongst these may be: :bomb::mail::flag::poop:
(Just some random ones I thought you'd enjoy)

We'd love to hear your feedback on these new smileys.

 

I can see you are changing the smilies around. Special request. Could you leave these installed?

I know the more balloon shaped smilies are quite popular, but not really my thing and like the older ones better.

And also, please note that this ( :poop: ) is not chocolate soft-serve ice cream.

 

Basically, we're only changing the default ones and just adding new ones to go alongside the extras we already have.

 

Nick, I love that smiley set and I plan on adding it as my smileys on some sites in the future for sure!

 

These smilies, are, well, not my preference, but what difference does my opinion make. I don't think it makes one.

Great choice, though these are over-used. Have you considered a custom set? Shelley is great.

 

Overused, Tom? I've never seen these used anywhere, to be honest.

 

I like them. So much so I'll be using my own variations similar to this style on my new site.

A suggestion and I strongly suggest you implement this and use princetons script GTSmiliebox - Move Smilies Below Editor.

I chose another set from there for my new site. Like I didn't already have enough smilies, now I have at least 100 more.
I did resize them tho. I don't like large smilies.

That site is a great resource for images.

 

I like the ones Shelley posted. They make me crave gummy candy.

 

Oh, God! These smileys are the :poop:, we are so for having them. Even happy California :cow: cannot :heart: these smileys as much as I do. These are just the :bomb:, they make want to have :cake: and . Today over here it was so :rain:, I missed the :sun: so much, but I saw the :rainbow:. Anywho, :peace: on you, my :computer: will have a smiley overload. :o
