Need someone to help test vnc connection

I need someone that has VNC installed. I'am setting up VNC one my computer and need someone from the outside world to hit my ip address. If it works right, you will be promoted for a password.

Send me a private message and I will send you my IP address. All I need to know is if the connection times out, or if your promoted for a password - nothing more.

 

Sorry only have RDP and VPN capability here.

 

Your a tech person and you dont have vnc installed?

My wife and I are flying to california for the weekend to visit my wifes sister. I want to be able to use the laptop to access my home computer while I'am away. This was all setup and working several months ago, but I disabled it for some reason.

 

Have never had a need for VNC to be honest with you. Either SSH or RDP have been enough to gain access to any server a customer needed me to access. VPN allows me to tunnel into any network if an even more secure connection is needed.

Why not just take your laptop to Starbucks or Panera and try to connect?
