Regarding THIS thread (please keep this URL to yourself guys).

Contractor Forum - Recent Blogs Posts - Blogs
If you checkout the categories, they're actually called Tiling, Plumbing, Plastering, Electrical and Flooring. And VB seems to name the first three "My Cat" and so on.

index.php isn't working, so if you want to checkout the forum URLS and what-not, checkout this: Main Forum

I'll update the original thread I made in the VB forum here on AA rather than this, I just thought some of you might want to check it out. :)

I checked out the 'Main' forum and poked around a bit, but did not check out the rest of the links in your post. Is that a live site?

Do you plan to customize the skin in any way?

Yes it's a live site. We now have quite a few members and it's only been online about a week now. So it's getting there.

I did trial a couple out of the few available from vb.org, though when I upgraded from BETA 3 to BETA 4 they had issues. So I will skin it, though I think I'll wait for it to be stable. I like running my forums pretty raw design-wise so I usually just go with some header changes etc. But I'm graphically challenged, so they're normally just ones from the org. Though the members still always love the forums so it can't be that bad.

Eeerm. Updated the main thread in the vbulletin forum here. And I'll update it again when I get chance. But a quick answer, I like it, I'd say 8/10.

I've not managed to get the suite working and there's no support for it and the vbulletin.com members haven't helped me much so I'll wait for it to become stable or just keep trying on each BETA release. I really wanted it to work, but I can only find actual forums working using VB4, no suites, so perhaps everybody has the same problem, I dunno.

We have let a bunch of the moderators from all our other forums sign up as moderators on this one. I asked them if they would see the forums they mod for us using this in the future and I got a mixed response but the ones that didn't like the new one said it's more design they didn't like, and to be honest, I think they just get used to the forum they're on right now - so we'll see.

    I'll report back asap.
