On your forums do you keep the members list available to members? Personally the default in vbulletin I think could do with some major improvement in appearance particularly making searching direct on the page. On our teen forums we have it enabled but keep a link to it tucked within our Quick Links as it is rarely used and the majority of the time I can only see spammers using it as a tool to spam via PM.

Do you keep your members list enabled for members? If so why or why not :D

Indeed, I do keep it available for viewing. :)

I don't see a reason to not do so. If another member would like to contact another member quickly, searching and finding this member by way of the members list is an efficient way of doing so.

I generally do though never to 'guests', they need to register. And we read PM's to ensure we're not having our members ripped off by dodgy salesmen.

Though I do think it needs improving on a bit.

I keep it open to viewing, and don't see no reason not to.
