I saw this while I was at a clients office. They had the news on in the waiting room. This is bad and will only get worse.

Our condolences and sympathy go to the family and relatives of those who died in this tragedy.
A sad loss of innocent lives.

On the BBC last night, it seems that it cold only have been a ground to air missile, a type of which is used by the Russians, however it's range is 30000 feet, the airliner was reported at 33000ft, and was supposedly safe.

There was a "no fly zone" in place where it was shot down, but that was only below 30000ft, but you have to wonder what was a civilian aircraft doing flying over a "no fly zone" in the first place.

My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones.
