Making a copy of a usergroups posts automatically

This saves a HUGE amount of time.

We have the 'registered users' group moderated, every post needs to be approved. After their first post is approved they are promoted into a unmoderated user group.

Finding those moderated posts took much effort. This modification makes a copy of the moderated posts into a forum the moderators have access to and show up under 'new posts', whereas moderated posts do not.

It also allows mods to communicate about these new people. They can post to the threads created by this modification.

We also have a 2nd usergroup that is always moderated for 'special' people and that is the reason for the 2nd user group option.

 

I use a mod from the org that adds a blinking notification to the notification area when anything is in the moderation queue. Works well for us.

 

Yet another mod I need to install today! That should take care of getting the mods to go through the moderation queue.
