Main Forum Rules

What are the main rules you have for your forum or which ones do you find are most broken on your forum?

1. No spamming! Yes, we dont like spammed advertisements.
2. No Trolling. We get a lot of these.
3. Pornographic imagery isnt allowed. Yes, some people upload pornography as their avatars/signatures/profile pictures.

Of course they arent the whole rules written out properly but in short of course

The most broken is certainly the spamming rule, luckily a lot of it is caught before going public and that usually leads to a quick and easy ban.

*dont mention competing forums
they are the top 3, and probably the most broken. Although i dont get spammed

 

We dont get any actual spam bots but we do get quite a few human spammers looking for a quick linkback within their posts.

Looking at your rules summaries, mine seem a bit strict now hehe..

Anyway, my rules cover a few categories, these are;

• Discriminatory & Offensive Material
• Flaming & Derogatory Posts
• Off-Topic Posting
• Pornographic and Sexual Images
• Cracks and Warez
• Image Rules
• Respect Staff Wishes
• Ban Evasion
• Do Not Disrespect or Harass Staff
