Logo Request

Ok hopefully this will be my last request here... I was going to attempt this myself however it is such an important task I thought I would attempt to see if any of the brilliant graphic designers on here were willing to give it a go.

Background:
I have been approached by a Football (Soccer) club that plays in Australia's domestic competition the Hyundai A-League, this season is their first season in the competition.

They have approached me after sending my sports website media releases for the last eight months and after checking my progress on my website they contacted me to create them an Official "Unofficial" Supporters Forum.

The rules of the competition they are in state that clubs are not allowed "Official" Forums however they want these forums to be where all of the clubs supporters can go and talk, they will be providing this new forum with media releases, photos, one on one interviews with players etc which is why they are calling it their somewhat Official Supporters Forum as no other forums around will have these perks given to them and the clubs media manager will actually be moderating the forum.

What I need:
Ok I know this is naughty but after searching around on the internet I found this logo - it is another Unofficial Supporters Forum's logo and I would like to some how re-work it - I have attached their logo, and the teams logo which I have permission to use.

I need to somehow come up with a brand new supporters forum logo - I like the look of this first one but off course I can not use it which is why I am hoping one of the fantastic graphic designers on here could maybe create one simular but with obvious differences -

I have also attached logos of other shields etc that could be used - the main objective is to create something fresh looking, something that is unique (however I do like the first image) and something that can become the bench mark of our website.

Sizes: I would like this big 600x600 or something on a transparent background so we can use it on any and all other images created for the website.

Background: As mentioned above on a transparent background so can be easily used on other images etc.

Text: Gold Coast United (or their logo) Unofficial Supporters Forum - Est 2009

Colors: The team colors are yellow, royal blue and white

Payment: Will pay $100USD within 14 days of the logo being completed to satisfaction - transferred via PayPal only.
