Logo Needed for outdoors forum

I am in need of a great eye catching logo for my outdoors forum. I am open to any ideas and suggestions... but it needs to be fairly small (don't want 6-12 inches of dead space at the top of the forums), and it must be eye catching and capture the essence of Louisiana Outdoors as well as being affordable. budget is not high at the particular moment.
