I got an email from Vb stating my license or services is about to expire. It states since my license is owned I can continue using my current version but I want have access to updates. Does this mean if I want to upgrade to the 3.8.5, I need to do it now before my service agreement expires?

And if so, should I upgrade?

    Thanks,

    Ray

    Hi Ray,

It does not mean that you have to upgrade right now. Once your updates expire, you will be able to download anything that has been released prior to the expiration. Since your license isn't expired yet, and 3.8.5 is already released, you will have access to it (and any prior versions) indefinitely.

Whatever you have available in your Member's Area will be there forever. Hypothetically speaking, ten years from now (provided things don't change), you will still be able to download 3.8.5, 3.7, 3.6, etc. (including all sub-versions).

You could always download the latest folder and save it on your computer as well - just in case. ;)
