Everyone be sure to eat a donut today.

At Dunkin' Donuts, if you buy a cup of coffee you get a free donut.
Krispy Kreme's are offering one free doughnut per customer, no purchase necessary.

 

Darn.. I had donuts yesterday. I can't have them two days in a rows. Today is bagel and cream cheese day for me.

We had a Dunkin Donuts a couple of blocks away. The franchisee lost their franchise because they couldn't keep up with the standards of the company and were selling off-menu items like tamales. Now its just a donut shop with crappy coffee and pathetic baked goods. The tamales are okay though.

The only Krispy Cremes we had that could be considered local closed down about 5 years ago. Which is hard to understand because they had the contract to sell Krispy Cremes in 10 local supermarkets and delivered 40-100 dozen donuts to the local Air Force Base every morning.

Winchell's is going strong though. They have been in the local community for 40 years.

When I woke up this morning, a dozen donuts from Dunkin's and a coffee from Starbucks were waiting for me. :spin:

 

I wish I had a chocolate creme filled Donut.

 

I should take a walk over to Dunkin Donut's.

A coffee sounds nice, any way.
