    Hey Guys and Girls,
I was hoping someone on here would be able to help me I am urgently stuck in a pickle.

Whenever I try to post something on my site now no matter how long or how short it is I get this error:
    Code:
[B]The following errors occurred with your submission:[/B]
The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 4 characters.
Now I am confused as I have made absolutely no template edits today, I have disabled and re-enabled every mod one at a time seeing if something there was interfering with it.

The only thing I have changed is I removed all of the smilies and replaced them, and replaced all of the post icons but other than that no actual coding what so ever.

I am using the following setup:
    vBulletin 3.8.4
    vBGallery 2.5
    vBAdvanced 3.2.1

They were all working fine a couple of hours ago and this has just happened out of the blue all I have done is change the images stated above and moved a large number of former boards on my site to a hidden area as we continue our revamp.

Please if you can help me I am desperate.

You're talking about the Mystery District? I had no problem posting a response. I'm using IE8. Make sure the url is prefixed with www.

I had problems making it recognizing me without it.

Seeing you post a response just annoyed me even more I hope you know - lol.

Here I am playing with little bits for a couple hours now just to try and get me to be able to post lowering the minimum post count to 4 then 1 then even 0 and still it comes up with the error, and you just login and post straight away grrr.... lol.

I am using IE 7 but am about to upgrade but I will check it all out and hopefully get it fixed.

EDIT: Just tried it with the latest version of FireFox and the same issue is present

Can anyone else post? Are only certain people having problems?

Well webmist and my other admin knell have both posted, so it must have something to do with me - I removed the facebook connect thing this morning which is the only thing I have moved so I thought it may have been because that account was registered using the facebook stuff.

But it can't be that as I just registered a brand new account and it is the same issue.

FIXED: This thread can now be closed - I was using a Full WYSIWYG Editor which was causing the issues once I changed it to standard I am now able to post... yay...

The WYSIWYG editor should have worked though, so I am still curious what could have been the issue for that.

Didn't mean too, honest....lol (don't want to go missing)

Yeah you should check it out and make sure. Sounds like it's not closing a element tag which would through off everything. Another script I have did that. Annoyed me to no end cause I thought it was just me. Until the bug fix came out.

Ok changed to full wysiwyg and does it to me to. Nothing seems to work either. Reply doesn't work, to start a new topic neither.

I turned all of the products off one by one and all of them and it still did it.

I am going to be going through the templates next though - I don't want to revert as we are using a brought skin (where the website is currently off line) so am going to be going through and hope there is nothing in the templates.

Have you tried disabling the Plugin/Hook System from vB options?

Try that first, I had an issue caused by a mod which persisted even after disabling it individually, but when I disabled all plugins from vB options it fixed the issue confirming it was indeed a mod causing the problem.

Also create a default skin with no parent and see if it does it in that.
