do you need a certain amount of posts to access irc? I tried clicking the chat link and it said that i was not allowed access.

 

gives me the same error - i doubt i don't have enough posts, so it must be broke

 

I tried it a couple of weeks ago. Same thing. If I don't have access to it, doubtful that anyone does.

I'm sure it's one of those things Alien will get around to when he gets a chance.

 

in the meantime, you (or anyone else!) can join by downloading mirc and connecting to #aliensoup on EFNet!

 

I completely re-did the chat area, it's now a pop-up and a new plug-in. Should work fine now.

If it does not, your browser might have cached the old chat code at some point (or you denied the plug-in/certificate). Make sure you clear your browser's cache and cookies and restart your browser for it to work. You must accept the java certificate!
