I am having an issue where members are unable to get to the main forum page.

Ever since IP content was installed/used, they can not get to the main forum page only the homepage.
It does not affect me however and it doesn't appear to effect some other members.
    Can someone please help?

Do you have any settings in ACP > Other Apps > Content > Settings > Advanced filled out?

A link to your site might help so we can see if we can reproduce the issue :)

I actually cant post links here in the forum haha :) I don't have 25 posts yet and I got an Alert here on Adminaddict that i cant post links.

But even I can't reproduce the issue. I used my cellphone, I used about 5 proxies and I've used a friend's computer and internet connection.
I can't reproduce this issue myself....and some of my members do not have this issue either.

Not all my members(Including me) see the error message....

According to those who DO have the issue
The homepage is gone and when they click on the forums has an error message.

They then have to click a button that would them to click here if you want to see the forums.

So is this a cache issue OR something else?

I would tell those members to clear their browser cache to see if the issue goes away.

If that doesn't work, you could try the following:
Make sure that your IPB default template "Skin Set Key" says default. If you don't see it, it's likely already done.
Go to Template Tools and use some of the tools to see if that fixes the problem.
If all else fails, submit a ticket to support.

What's the url to your site? You can post it here without http.

Do you use a custom menu? Check the url to your forum in your menu.

Sounds like they are simply reaching a page that no longer exists. Did you change the url to the forums when you added IP.Content? Did you set IP.C as the homepage? There are probably some configs that need changing or you may need to rebuild your templates etc. under template tools.

If all else fails, submit a ticket. Support is very prompt and good at figuring issues out. Or post in IPB support forums. There are some pretty smart members there that could help better than I could.

    Good Luck!
