Image Paths Are Set Wrong!

Okay look, image paths dont even work Gaming Cube
I need to fix my images, i set them in all places, still dont work.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Are all your styles images within the above directory on your server?

 

The problem is your using vBadvanced located outside your forums (folder) in the ROOT directory. You need to go into your Template Style settings and change all paths for your image folders to include the full site URL address.

Example: http://www.yoursite.com/forum/images/misc

Instead of: images/misc

What's happening is vBadvanced is looking for those images in your ROOT directory because your not using full URL address for image paths to point it to them stored in your forums folder instead.

Even in your vBulletin options. You will have to change the path there also that leads to the clear.gif image (for that to be displayed). It's a pain installing vBadvanced outside your forums folder, and you would not suffer from this problem at all if you installed it in the forums folder instead, or just installed both the forum and vBadvanced in the ROOT directory. Then re-name the (index.php) file to "portal.php" or "home.php" for vBadvanced. So it doesn't clash with the forums index.php file.

There are also other problems if I remember right, which are not so easy to fix if you install vBadvanced outside your forums folder. I think you also might have to edit both smiley and post icons to include the full site url leading to them as well.

 

Off topic: Where did you get that skin, I've never heard of goldfox before :/

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.




Have you been playing with your .htaccess

 

Make sure you're path is chmoded correctly...?

 

I dont play with nothing, i just changed domains thats all, and removed
gamingcenter.info from my site.

Can I ask why you're using vB 3.8.3 for a new install? Why not just d/l 3.8.4 from your member's area on vB.com?

 

I hear problems with mods in 3.8.4, and i like 3.8.3 and will always like it.
Also images are good now, it was just teh hotlink protection.
