If you've installed a points or credits system on your forum, what creative names have you given your currency? I've seen people use "points", "credits", "dollars"... AdminAddict member Arny calls them "WDBucks". Any interesting examples out there?

When a former community of mine (based on a local car fanatics club) was up and running years ago, I used a credits system that used "XenonBucks", a form of currency based off of high-intensity discharge xenon headlights.

    I loved those XenonBucks.

Michelle, as you mentioned....I call them WDBucks (Walt Disney Bucks) and, as you know, the folks love to spend 'em! ;)

I'm thinking if I do install a credits system on my ice cream forum, I'll probably call them "brownie points" :)

I just started setting up credits for one of my forums today, whose main little "mascot" or template scheme is a dragon. So, after a short brainstorming session, we decided to call them "dragon scales". I think it fits. :D

Thanks! btw, "brownie points" would just be epic on an ice cream forum! You should definitely use that if you implement it.

I have never used a system and have no clue what I would use. Probably something uncreative like "Cash". :P

    I use tokens.
Works pretty well with the gaming theme cause it reminds me of an arcade.

Tokens is an excellent name; might work for a local forum in an area with a subway or metro bus system too. (Except here in New York City they've done away with tokens, it's all Metro card now. Shame I can't use that on my upcoming local forum.)
