I wonder what vBulletin's old staff think of vBulletin 4...

Do they think it went well, was a disaster or what? Then again, they're probably told not to voice opinions about the company they resigned from...

I know a few of their thoughts but that is for them to say not me. :D

From a standpoint of a customer I'm in shock. When I say shock it won't hit me till another years time when everything is going well so you'll see me posting about the state of vbulletin in 1 years time when everything is running smoothly and the product is what everyone expected it to be. Great. And in turn wondering what the hell I'm venting about.

If you know where to look, you'd already know their thoughts. Let's just say: they aren't surprising. ;)

^Can you provide some links to back that up? I haven't read much on Twitter, and I already read Scott Macvicar's blog entries.

I think you should do background checking and search for links yourself cheatmaster. (No offense) but that's really putting nick on the spot and looks like he's taking sides. Personally, you won't find much info in the way of venting from them because they retain that level of professionalism.

I take my hat off to them for that. I really do. After putting their life and soul into a project only for a few clowns to tarnish that in less than a year. But there ya go. Log cabins are not just for christmas, they are for life.

^ Right. As Shelley said in her first post: I know a few of their thoughts but that is for them to say not me. :D

Do a google on the previous developers, and you'll find their viewpoints.

Ray left to focus on himself and his wife building a house in Costa Rica.

I'm guessing it came from that.

And yes, immaturity at it's finest.

The joke is stale. It was funny at first, but now it's just getting old.

No matter the reason for the visit, Costa Rica is a great place to go to. Been there a few times myself.

I need to report a crime. I can't believe the log cabin joke is not being embraced. I was shinning for a time and you've blown that shine right out of me. I've only mentioned the log cabin about 100 odd times ryan, your acting like I say it in every thread I post in. *slumps head down and walks out of the thread*

I dont think Ray ever said it was a log cabin anyway.

It was funny to start with, but past its use by date now.

Being nice doesn't qualify you to manage a forum software.
