i need a photo site made! im paying

    i have a domain and everything but i need someone who can do the following:

    create a photo site.. where users can REGISTER.. upload and add captions to photos..

    i want to have my own logo and site design.. like colors...

    i also want a feature done where i can choose a PHOTO of th week...

    i want the winner to be at the top right or something... that says photo winner of the week..

    I was thinking it was too low. That is damn cheap if his services are of good quality. I know people who would charge at least that 10 times that amount. If all you require is someone to throw something up that works and leave you to sort out the rest then fair enough it is a little expensive but if there is custom coding, logo design, the whole themes design etc and he is good at it, that is one hell of a bargain.

    Sorry to butt in but I had to say something! :D

    Because the job was taken. By someone who does pretty good work for a relatively low price. Until I'm super skilled, I wouldn't imagine charging that much. But, that's not saying that Michael's quote was too high, it's actually on-par.

    It all depends on the developer, though. Remember, there are people that create programs such as Joomla, SMF, OSCommerce, and Linux, that do it either for free or dirt cheap.

    I thought $70 was extremely cheap as well.

    For $50, I could set you up a wordpress blog, give it a gallery and power it with user comments for captions though.

    Probably won't be any fancy logo design, or custom 1-off site however
