I guess all of this isn't for me. I mean, I want to own my own forum and have it be successful and all, but all my topics are so over saturated it's not even funny. The ones I do go to all seem to have horrible themes, or maybe it's just me not liking them. Should I just leave all this and go find something else to do?

Problem is this is the ONLY thing that even remotely interests me, forum administration and pretty much gaming and computers, etc.

    /me is lost.

    P.S.

I still can't seem to sit down and do any work. I get to distracted :(.

Actually, your current forum is in a pretty specific niche. You just need to market and "exploit" that niche to get the full benefit. I'd suggest networking with more general Asperger's and Autism oriented forums as well as networking with groups dedicated to this niche on Facebook and Linked In. Possibly even Twitter using the #aspergers and/or #autism tags on your relevant tweets.

Just like anything new, it takes time to market and develop. Bouncing between different sites to promote your own may also ease your distraction and allow you to get more done.

I agree with Wayne. Don't give up! When I get my forum up and going I'll be glad to exchange links with you if you'd like?

You (we) are very much in a specific niche - not oversaturated at all.
Are you on FB? Do you post about your site there? If not, you should. There are a few discussion groups there for Aspergers, you could join in on a few groups, and post about your site.

Do a google for Aspergers, Asperger Syndrome, and Asperger disorder. You'll find other forums and sites, blogs, etc that you can network with.

Please don't give up. The world needs our sites. They just don't know about them yet. ;)
