How well do you know your members?

Are you close-knit and friendly, or is there little-to-no connection between you and them?

 

Being the social individual that I am, I make it one of my goals (as both an administrator and a person) to form a relationship with my community. Sure - there are always the members that register solely to either acquire information or participate in the discussions without introducing themselves, but they are in the minority.

I have a rule of thumb: if I can't joke around with the members of my community, I am not doing something right.

 

I generally tend to know most of the members of my forums because in a sense we're a very large community.

 

I'd say they're pretty close-knit... they call each other, seek each other out while traveling, etc.

 

yeah, of course i do. i have most of my reglularly posting members on msn, have some of their phone numbers, have (almost) all of them on facebook
