As a webmaster how much time to you truly put into your websites? I like to personally sit down and really get in the mode to work on my projects, this is usually either when I talk to someone on Skype or when I'm listening to music.

So I'd say I can easily put in 4 hours of work at a time :)

I personally put a lot of hours if I enjoy something.
So you wont see me posting on forums that don't interest me to taking care of websites which are boring to my taste.

I have a certain taste and that needs to be satisfied in order for me to be motivated.

Truth be told I haven't started any web projects in close time because I was to busy with my school but once my summer breaks start I have a few plans that I would like to try out with a few of my good friends.

I used to run a few websites a while back and I used to spend 3-4 hours daily editing pages, uploading content and such. Even though there was another admin :P. He also spent about 3-4 on upkeep of the sites.

I put in a lot of hours, I listen to music through out the day, and also, discuss things with my members. My community takes up a lot of time, but that's because I don't have a real job, so its fine.

I put in alot of time to my forum, about 5-8 hours a day on AdminBB. I work very hard on it, and thats why its doing so well. Hard work pays off.

Time is not necessary when making/rebuilding sites...

You can take all the time you need to make a perfect website/forum

I'm putting about 48 hours of coding in a week at 30 Day Challenges. During the initial building of the site and especially towards my deadline I was coding 8/12 hours a day to get it done.

I have put in, so far, about 2 months of work in my yet-to-open forum. This is on an average of 4-5 hours a day, 7 days a week. My deadline for opening is June 1st, but there is still so much to be done...

Hey dont worry about it. Everything takes time, if you dont put hard work into it, its not going to be perfect and wont succeed.

Everyday I push as much promotion as I could. I post like I've never posted before on promotion forums. I order tons of services too. I usually put in 6 - 10 hours a day.

I did the same until AdminBB finally grew so I dont have to worry much. It all pays of soon.. may not happen as fast as you'd want it to be, but it does happen.

Too much, lol practically all day every day when I am awake, allowing a few hours break to have lunch & dinner, etc. so on average that's about 8+ a day.

I put 3 hours of work into GI (to get V6 running) every day unless my coursework will be suffering
