How hard could it be?

    Well, with comes to forum community building, attracting visitors to your website is only a tenth of the challenge.....

    well we have to convert our visitors to members, then we must some how convince them post, we have to make them happy so that they would stay and the list goes on and on and on........

    I personally believe that before you could make any money on your forums you must have steady member base.

    Could you give us some insights on how do you convert your lurkers to members?

    " Visitors tend not to join if the forum content is hidden from visitors (some will, but its harder). Most of the forum content needs to be public. That does not mean that some premium content is hidden from visitors to encourage registration to see the premium content. Generally, they need to be impressed with the visible content first."
