    the general subject of entertainment, gaming, TV shows etc? Seriously, look up a TV show, video game or famous musician you like in English, and you'll get at least one official site and four major fan sites come up about the topic in question. Type it into Google in Japanese, and it seems you don't get any fan sites for just about any topic, and even the chance of bringing up the official company website is near zero in many cases. Is there a cultural difference or something?

    Hmm... Well... Google shows results depending in which country you are.

    Anyways, Nippon Baseball is very popular

    ???? SportsOnline

    ?? - goo ????

    Not to mention Anime is very popular over there. I've seen a few Japanese websites, but most are because of the Vocaloids. There is a very popular gameshow in Japan 人間的テトリス or well, Human Tetris.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG0guVq_0uo"]YouTube- The Human Tetris 6 (Dec 20, Japan) (warm water)[/ame]
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2ymxRkD2e4"]YouTube- Funniest Tetris Ever[/ame]

    But they don't really have a fan site.

    But no, not many fan sites. But if you search アニメ you will find a LOT of content.

    Like ??? ?? - goo ???
