Hosting

My hosting doesn't run out till May 12, but I am looking at other hosting options as my current hosts want to charge me $220 for a year after my 12 months is up. I have done a bit of research for replacement hosts but I don't really find many good ones I like. My forum isn't big about 10 regulars nearly 8000 posts, but we get a fair bit of bots (so far its up around 2gb for Dec) and we are growing a bit. I don't want to pay heaps for hosting I know that can be hard to ask for something cheap and reliable, but I wanted to ask here.

 

Do you need shared hosting or a VPS? For shared hosting I'd recommend Valcatohosting.com.
For a VPS, I'd recommend Knownhost

 

At the moment I am looking at shared, but I will always keep an eye open for VPS as I have a other websites I could add.
