Homepage

Hi,
Hope this is in the right area..

Id like to make a homepage for my forum, but im not sure how I go about it. I know there is a mod that I can use on vbulletin that can create a homepage (portal?) that will have the same look as my forum, but is this easy to do? would you suggest it?

Or does any one have any suggestions of any good programs I can download to help me make one, or even web based programs that I could use? I dont really want to spend any more money at the moment. I will when I get more time build a more in depth one, but for now just something basic and easy but still effective.

Is it relatively easy? Im on my phone so ill have a look when im on my computer

 

It is pretty straight forward but better if you know your coding so you can customise the look of it, there are hundreds upon hundreds of hideous, default vbadvanceds out there.
