Hello, I'm an Admin Addict

Hello,

I was a forum admin for a few forums and even though I no longer run any active forums, I'm still addicted to the forums. I've often visited this site, but never registered. Now that I have more time on my hands I thought I would join a few of the forums I visited the most and introduce myself.

I look forward to checking out the resources offered here and interacting with the community.

BTW: Thanks for letting me be able to register with this screen name, There have been more than a few sites I've tried to register this screen name with only to be rejected during the registration process or worse still being told later on that I can't use it.

Welcome to the site, I think you'll find it rather enjoyable, laid back and relaxing here compared to other up tight admin sites.

I can somewhat understand why some forum owners might not want anyone to use "admin" in their username. But if that's the case they should make sure you can't get past the registration process. I've been on a site or two that let me register DaUnknownAdmin, then weeks (and in one case 8 months) later tell me I have to change it.

Anywho, looking forward to checking out the place.
