Have you ever brought ad space for your forum?

    This is something that I've yet to do - my community has mainly grown from word of mouth, and links on other sites, but the question is - Have you ever brought ad space for your forum?

    If so, from where? And how much did those ads help your community?

    Used adwords recently, brought in some traffic but no new registrations.
