How do you handle friends and/or family that is on your board and break some serious rules? Do you treat them the same as regular members or do they get away with it?

Well, I've never "threatened" my members - I've dealt with them accordingly, in an appropriate manner.

In regards to dealing with members who are family and/or friends: I treat all of my members equally, regardless of their relation to me. I have a rule of thumb - what happens on the board stays on the board. If a family member (or friend) decides to cause trouble, they'll be dealt with.

I treat them the same. If they continue to cause trouble and think that because they know me, they will not get in trouble. I will just ban them.

I would treat them the same, no questions asked.

My family generally isn't interested in actually posting, though they do on a couple of the forums. I have had to explain certain things (general forum etiquette and the like) and occasionally edit their posts, but I know they're not out to cause trouble.

My family and close friends will rarely to ever register one of my communities so I've really never had this problem. However, if I did, like others have said, they'd be dealt with just as if they are a regular member.

And, like Chris mentioned, what goes on at the forum stays at the forum.
