Google as a calculator

    Arising out of the how old are you thread it seems some people may be unaware of this facility in Google.

    just type say "18 years in seconds" into Google and at the top of the results will be

    18 years = 568 024 668 seconds


    it works for loads of awkward calculations say....... 3 furlongs in centimetres
    some 60 thousand 350.4 (are they sure about the .4?)

    Yep, I've used this for a while now; It's extremely handy in many cases. Use it to convert units in cooking, do simple math, calculate various things, etc.

    Google does a lot more than many think: Search Features :cool: I most often use local search, movie times, local weather, calculator, and the dictionary.

    Google shows up Twitter in searches now too.
