What FTP client do you use yourself if any? I have always and still use Filezilla myself.

I have a few friends using paid FTP clients, I cant think of anything that they could do that Filezilla cant, if only there was some sort of uploading accelerator in them then I would try them out. They must have something in them thats good or different for to be a paid software surely? :D

on my pcs i run FileZilla and on my macs i run CyberDuck.

I prefer CuteFTP for windows however it costs a pretty penny and filezilla does the exact same thing and its just not as fast. but CyberDuck is by far the best FTP program I have ever seen.

I wouldn't pay for an FTP client. Ever. Even if they had more features than Filezilla, none of them would be worth paying for, because Filezilla already does what I need to do. Anything else is just extra bloatware.

I happened to buy AceFTP before I moved to Firefox.

    I'm happy with it.

I used to use IE for FTP, but I had a lot of trouble with that, especially with uploads failing.

FTP Voyager. I picked it up years ago on recommendation from my dad and haven't had a single issue with it since.

Never used anything other than FileZilla. It's great! :)

Although, I do use the FireFTP add-on for Firefox when I need to upload something quickly and don't have FileZilla open.

Cyberduck is free for mac, i just prefer the interface and how well organized it. plus it allows server to server transfer.

That is why I do not buy CuteFTP however I use it for work because it is what my work purchased and requires me to use.

I use winSCP most the time depending on what I'm doing, since it has the built in shell prompt and i'm on windows its a life saver some times.

If i know i'm just transfering files, I use FileZilla.

Because Filezilla is good for transfering files and thats about it. some people need more options and personally I find having the SSH prompt built directly into a FTP program niceee!

I have to agree with this. ;)

I'm also quite fond of (and use) Ipswitch WS_FTP. While I prefer FileZilla overall (in terms of simplicity and usability), this client is also quite nice.
