What is the best way to monetise your forums when it comes to ad networks like Adsense etc, is Adsense the best? Please take a look at our forums and give us any ideas you may have to help monetise us further :)

    Thanks

I'm guessing AdSense will be your best bet as affiliate programs probably wouldn't work well on a teen site.

We have Adsense ads but not too sure about their placements :)

Yeah, I agree with Michelle; some sort of CPC ads would be your best bet.

First link in sig is broken. :(

It really depends what type of forum you run. I've had better luck selling adspace than doing PPC or whatever, but mostly on general discussion forums. Don't be afraid to contact people who you think might benefit from an ad on your site or do a little tracking to figure out whose ads are coming to you from adsense. Click on your ads and find out where they're coming from, talk to the people placing those ads, cut out the middle man.

I've also found CPM to work better on general forums.
