I'm having some odd trouble with Firefox that I've never encountered before. No updates have recently been installed, nothing has been changed, etc. This problem just spontaneously appeared.

I was browsing my Linnie Forum, and went to rate a thread. I realized that the popup menu to rate a thread didn't work. It was a link, not a menu anymore.
I browsed around and discovered that JavaScript didn't work whatsoever. No popup menus worked, I couldn't collapse forums, etc.

But I have checked several other forums, and they work fine. Popup menus work, JavaScript works, all is good. So evidently, it's just my Linnie Forum that isn't working properly with JavaScript.

I checked my Firefox options and they are all set as usual to enable JavaScript.

Does anybody have any clue what the issue is? I'm going to go install the latest version of Java to see if that makes a difference.

I don't know why, but clearing my cookies and cache solved the issue.

Same thing happens to me from time to time with with Quick Links menu on vB boards. I click it and the page reloads with the normal navbar links replaced by the quick links links (say that three times fast. :D )

Normally a hard refresh Ctrl F5 or Cmd F5 (on Mac) fixes the problem. I've never figured out why it happens though.
