I searched for this, so I hope I did not overlook it.

vb.org has several hacks for Facebook Integration.

    There is vBNexus
vB Nexus, Facebook & Google multiple login integration - vBulletin.org Forum

    Yet Another Facebook Bridge
YAFB - Yay! Another Facebook Bridge - vBulletin.org Forum

    Facebook Connect
Facebook Connect - Allow your users to login with their Facebook account (for 3.8) - vBulletin.org Forum

Is anyone using any/all successfully or have tried them and made any choices?

    Thanks for your experience.

When it comes to Facebook integrations, I've tried and provided a good deal of support for almost all of them. Here's a pretty decent rundown:

    FB Connect:
The mod works, though it can be a bit of a nightmare to configure. If the facebook bridge (connection) is down for any reason, you have no way to get posts on your forums for any users, however.

    vBnexus:
Don't even get me started on the unprofessionality of this author, really. Promised support, none provided, buggy code, a really, really bad modification. The intent was great, but I wouldn't install this on any forum. I have it on my own because I thought it'd be better supported than the connect mod was, but it turned out to not be so.

    YAFB:
Haven't gotten around to this one yet. Because of certain actions @ .org, I have to find other places to get this stuff, despite being a license holder, which delays me a bit. I'm hearing some good stuff about it though. If I can find a way to import members from nexus (shouldn't be terribly hard), I would give it a try, once I can get my hands on a copy

Given the two I've had experience with, I'd suggest fbconnect, despite it being somewhat complicated and confusing to install and modify.

I've installed the facebook connect mod and it worked great with the exception of when facebook was down, it would error out on my site.
I'm also a fan of the facebook fan box, but the same thing applies.. It seems if facebook is having issues, it would slow down my site and that's just something I won't accept.
If the code could be cached on my site, I would give it a shot again but until then, I'll pass. :(

ps.. I had 56 people sign up with their facebook account in the 2 weeks I had it installed, but the slowness of facebook made me remove it :(

Facebook in general has been slow, and experiencing a ton of database and network errors recently, so I wouldn't be so quick to integrate with them just yet.

I agree with Dave. It has been pretty slow, and even tho the causes of the errors are being worked on, they're still fairly prevalent. I wouldn't connect just yet either.

I have used the Facebook Connect and vB Nexus mods, and both have worked fine for me (currently using the latter, no complaints). I haven't tried the other modification yet, due to having no real need for it, but I'd definitely use it if I wanted the functionality just to see how well it works.

I'm curious as to how it handles times when it can't connect to facebook?
